Terms of service

The plain-English terms on which we build and maintain websites.

1. Quotes and scope

Every quote is fixed price against a written scope. If you ask for something outside that scope we will tell you what it costs before doing it, not afterwards.

2. Payment

Half the build fee to start, half on go-live. The care plan begins in month 13 and is billed monthly in advance.

3. What we include

Everything listed on the pricing page for your plan, including the domain, twelve months of hosting, mailboxes, email authentication, security hardening, accessibility work and search indexing.

4. Revisions

Two rounds of design changes are included. Further rounds are quoted before work starts.

5. Ownership

On final payment the site, its code and its content are yours. The domain is registered in your name from the outset. We keep a copy solely to support you.

6. Cancellation

The care plan is month to month after the first year, cancellable with 30 days notice. There is no exit fee. We will export everything and help you move.

7. Your responsibilities

You confirm you own or are licensed to use the content and images you give us, and that the business complies with the law that applies to it.

8. Liability

We maintain backups and restore quickly, but we cannot be liable for indirect loss such as lost profits. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding twelve months.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the United Kingdom.
