Accessibility
Our aim is for this website to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. This statement was written on 2 October 2026 for a demonstration site.
What we checked
- Colour contrast of text and controls in both the light and dark themes.
- Keyboard use: every link, filter, booking dialog and form works without a mouse, with a visible focus ring.
- Screen reader labels on buttons, filters, dialogs and the booking results, which are announced as they change.
- Layouts from 360px to 1440px wide, with no sideways scrolling.
- Reduced motion: if your device asks for less motion, the stretching headlines, the moving carriage and the marquee stop.
- The site works with JavaScript off, though live spots and booking need it.
Known gaps
- The drawn reformer in the home page header can be dragged with a pointer. Keyboard users get a “Pull the carriage” button instead, and the drawing has a text description.
- The studio floor plan is an image with a text description. The same details are written in the text beside it.
- We have not yet tested with every screen reader and browser combination.
Real-world access at the studio
The studio is on the ground floor, with a ramp at the entrance and one accessible toilet. If you have access needs, tell us when you book and we will prepare before you arrive.
Tell us about a problem
Email hello@spring-carriage.example.co.uk or ring 020 7946 0142. We reply within one working day and will offer another way to book if something on the site does not work for you.
This is a demonstration site built by Kirosconsult. The business is fictional.
