Questions we get asked

Do I need to bring a racket?

No. Hire is £3 a racket and a new can of balls is £5, both added when you book. Rackets are solid and short, so there is nothing to string and nothing to learn.

What should I wear?

Trainers with a flat sole and clothes you can move in. Please no football boots, studs or tennis shoes with a heavy tread, as they ruin the surface.

How many people can play?

Four, in two pairs, is the game. You can book a court for two and hit about, but the price is per court, so four is best value.

What if I need to cancel?

Free up to 24 hours before. Inside 24 hours you lose half the court price, and no-shows pay in full.

What if it rains?

Indoor courts 1 to 6 are unaffected. If an outdoor court is unplayable we move you indoors when we can, or refund the court in full.

Can I bring children?

Yes. Under 12s need an adult on site at all times. Junior sessions run on Saturday mornings, and the kitchen has a children’s box at £6.50.

Are dogs allowed?

Assistance dogs are welcome everywhere. Other dogs are welcome on the outdoor terrace but not indoors or on the courts.
