Accessibility statement.

This statement applies to this demonstration website for Threshold Mortgage Partners Ltd (a fictional business). It was last reviewed on 2 October 2026.

Where we aim to be

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet had an independent audit, so we cannot claim full conformance.

What we have done

• Every page has one main heading, a logical heading order and a skip link to the main content.
• All functions work from a keyboard, with a visible focus ring. The doors on the home page open when you tab to them, and each has a normal link behind it.
• Light and dark themes are both designed, and a button lets you choose. We checked text contrast in both: 4.5 to 1 for body text and 3 to 1 for large text.
• Form fields have labels, errors appear next to the field in words, and results from the calculators are announced to screen readers.
• Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall where they stand on their own.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, the doors, page transitions and chart animations are switched off.
• Pages work at 360 pixels wide without sideways scrolling.

Known gaps

• The illustrated street of doors is decorative. The same links appear as a list of six tiles further down the home page, which is the version we suggest for screen reader users.
• The calculators need JavaScript. Without it the page explains what each one does and offers a call instead.
• The charts are drawn as images with a text summary beside them. They do not yet have data tables.
• We have tested with a keyboard and automated checks. We have not yet tested with every screen reader and browser pairing.
