Prices include VAT and service. We do not add a service charge to your final bill.

The small print, in plain English

How does holding a date work?

We hold your date for seven days, free, and nobody else can book it in that time. Come and see the barn, and if you want it, a 25% deposit confirms it. If not, the date goes back on the calendar.

When do we pay the rest?

25% to confirm, 50% six months before, and the balance eight weeks before. We send a reminder two weeks ahead of each date, and you can pay by bank transfer or card.

Can we bring our own caterer?

Food is by our kitchen team, with three menus and every dietary need covered. Your cake, an evening food van of your choice (by agreement) and your own wine are all welcome.

What happens if our guest numbers change?

Give us final numbers eight weeks before. Until four weeks before you can drop numbers by up to 10% without penalty, and we can usually add guests right up to the last week.

Is there a minimum number of guests?

We ask for at least 40 day guests so the barn does not feel empty. Smaller weddings are better as midweek dates or a hosted weekend, so ask.

What if it rains on an outdoor ceremony?

We call it at 11am. If the orchard is wet, the ceremony moves into the barn, with no extra charge and no fuss, and the doors open for photographs afterwards.

Can children and dogs come?

Children are welcome and the Swallows room is made for them. Assistance dogs are always welcome, and other dogs are welcome by agreement, especially if they are carrying the rings.
