01 What we fit
Three jobs, one survey.
Most homes we visit suit one or two of these. The survey tells you which, and what each costs, before you commit to anything.
Heat pumps
Air or ground source, sized room by room, with a hot water cylinder and controls.
Solar panels
440W panels sized to your roof and your evenings, fitted in one to two days.
Home batteries
Keep the power your panels make at noon for when the kettle goes on at six.
02 Old houses
Will it work in a house like mine?
Usually, and the survey tells you for certain. A heat pump runs cooler than a boiler, so two things decide it: how much heat your house loses, and whether your radiators can give it back at that lower temperature. We measure both, room by room, before we quote.

A commonly quoted rough split, rounded, not a measurement of your home. Every house differs. Your survey replaces this with room-by-room figures.
Loft and draughts first, if they need it
We tell you when cheaper fabric fixes come before the heat pump, even when that means a smaller job for us.
Bigger radiators only where the numbers say
Some rooms need one swapped. Many need none. You get a list with the room, the radiator and the reason.
One fixed written quote
Grant already taken off. Radiators, pipework and electrical upgrades listed as lines, never as surprises on day two.
03 Boiler Upgrade Scheme
Towards an air or ground source heat pump.
- Paid to us and taken off your quote. You do not apply or wait for a cheque.
- For homeowners in England and Wales replacing oil, gas, LPG or electric heating.
- Needs a valid EPC. If you do not have one, we arrange it.
Rules checked October 2026. We confirm eligibility at your survey.
04 How it works
Four steps, no surprises.
Check the grant
Five questions, about two minutes. You see whether you are likely eligible and a price range after the grant.
Free home survey
One of our surveyors spends 60 to 90 minutes measuring every room, the loft, your radiators and the spot for the outdoor unit.
Fixed written quote
Within five working days. Grant deducted, every line itemised, valid for 30 days. No sales calls chasing you.
Installation
An air source heat pump usually takes two to three days. We commission it, register the MCS certificate and walk you through the controls.
05 Typical prices
What an air source heat pump costs.
Ranges for a standard installation: heat pump, hot water cylinder, controls, commissioning and MCS certificate. Your quote is fixed after the survey.
| Home size | Before the grant | After the £7,500 grant |

07 Questions
What people ask before a survey.
Will a heat pump keep my old house warm in winter?
Yes, if it is sized to your house's measured heat loss, which is why we calculate it room by room. A heat pump runs for longer at a steadier, lower temperature than a boiler. Your radiators feel warm rather than hot, and the house stays at an even temperature.
Do I have to replace all my radiators?
Not usually. The survey checks each radiator against the room it heats. Some rooms need a larger one, many need nothing. Your quote lists each change and the reason.
How noisy is the outdoor unit?
Modern units are quiet, but the position matters. We choose a spot away from bedroom windows and your neighbours' boundaries, give you the manufacturer's sound figure for your exact unit, and check the siting rules at survey.
I have a combi boiler. Where does the cylinder go?
A heat pump needs a hot water cylinder, usually about the size of a tall cupboard. We look for the space at survey. If there is genuinely nowhere sensible, we say so rather than force it in.
Is the £7,500 guaranteed?
No. The grant is set and funded by government. We check your eligibility at survey and show the grant as a deduction on your quote. If the rules change before you sign, we tell you straight away.
Can I have solar panels as well?
Yes, and one survey covers both. Residential solar and heat pumps carry 0% VAT until 31 March 2027, so the prices on this site have no VAT added.
